Finding herself among the void between design and art, Louisa Ida Maria Esch trys to express this with her work and wants to combine the two disciplnes. The 23 years old design student based in cologne, displays the short film „Blauzone“ as an abstract tribute to the colour blue and her first collaboration with StudioEast. After months of working and researching about the philosophy of the french artist Yves Klein and also trying to understand her own passion and her strong allure to the colour blue, this short movie is the intersection and result of it. It shows more or less the personification of the colour blue with the aim to create form through colour. Starring Mathilde Hawkins.
