Investigating our relation with nature and especially to plants, I was intrigued by the fact that we humans are a major geological force without being in control. The current epoch - the Anthropocene - and the current developments picture that we have to rethink the reltaion to our non-human surrounding and question our uniqueness as a species.
Jeu des ombres tries to shift our perspective towards the aestetics of sauvage nature by highlighting details that often are left unnoticed but are part of every environnment. It is an invitation to pay attention and simply perceive and submerge in our natural environnment.
